Army Lambretta 125cc
Something Different...
Army Lambretta 125cc in an L1 150 frame, which has a crossbar under the petrol tank!
Engine starts very easily.
Information passed to me - that this 1961 Lammy was built to parachute out of planes hence the crossbar for extra strength. When it commissioned out of the army a farmer bought it and used it on his land. He then bought a quad bike and stood it up in his barn.
I've put petrol in the tank and started it up very easily. Exhaust doesn't blow, gears go in, brakes work, but bike needs complete set of cables, and registering if required on the road. I don't know if knobbly tyres are legal on the road.
So how do you value something like this?
£200 starting price is the reserve.
Viewing most welcome.
Auction will run to the end; 25% deposit required at end of auction.
Bike is very light, tank can easily be removed and bike can be laid down in an estate car or similar.
Thanks for looking.
